why is it , instead of choosing to use larger font text, we choose to use the smaller one? what i found was that i choose the smallest font for both of the surahs.
I think it really helps. This happen because when the font is smaller, the pages will be thiner. Psychologically, we tend to think that we have to memorize only little verses. But in fact, it is quite much. On the other hand, when the font is bigger, we will see very thick pages and now we keep thinking we have to memorize so many things..so, in some way, it prevent us from memorizing the surahs well.
Isn't that true?? :p

yesterday...
the planned was that i want to recall those surahs pairing with my friend, kak yus. but last night my group and I were doing the scientific report for the animal training. Eventhough we don't really know the format of that scientific report, but it is okay. we've take out all the points.
Oh, ya! watching the hamster video was very fun.. i think maybe within several days, the video will be submitted and uploaded. so everyone can watch the video. :)

we still have time ^_^
Due to several reasons, some of our classes have been postponed. So the memorization test that should be conducted on 3-9 of december been postponed too. Here, it is our chance to be more prepared for the test. actually, if the test was conducted on the time stated, maybe I still can't really fluently recite those surahs. this semester, i was very busy and feel like don't even have the proper memorization. i just keep recite the surahs after my Isya' prayer. still looking at the text.
but last night, Yusra and I both try to recite Yaasin and al-Mulk together. this way is better. because she correct me if i was wrong, and i was correcting her too. :)
if we have so many times before , we might have been using this method since the first day we want to memorize. it is very true that elaborative rehearsal help us a lot in memorizing those surah. for example, in surahYaasin, there are so many verses that started with the same words. so, we use the meaning to memorize the end of the verses.
maybe tonight we gonna use the same technic to make our memorization better .

I think the animal training is already done. After so many trials, Alhamdulillah, our work on animal training has done. yippi. It just like the hamster knows that we have lots of other works to be done that one of the hamster finally manage to run smoothly from the starting point until it reached the food. Maybe at that time the hamster was hungry. If usually they are full, they will be quite lazy.
The submission of the assignment will on 21 Dec 2011. Tonight, we are going to do the final touch on the video. Hope everything goes well .

So, Whats Going On?
The very hectic weeks and months have been gone through. This week is the last week of the lecture. Only some works need to be submitted. So many things happen two months before where we were having our mid term, the eid break, animal training, the memorization progress and so on.
As was planned, our animal training assignment worked on time alhamdulillah. We already bought the hamster during the eid break. Right after the 'holiday', we start built up the maze and trained the hamster. The hamster was so wild, that they always jumped out from the maze, and it is so difficult to catch them back. Just imagine, only one of our group members dare to touch the hamster, she is Aida. :) So, each time the hamster jumped out, it is the very horrible moments for us. We scream like crazy and the hamsters also run like crazy. hehehe. Due to the nervousness of the hamster, as well as us, we decided to train them in our room. Sorry to the only guy in our group, akram, he can't join the training moments. but then he helped us a lot in other things i.e looking for stuffs to be used in made up our maze, he is going to burn the video and uploaded them, etc.
We trained the hamster for about three or for days per week. just to make sure they memorize the map. hahaha. Sometimes we don't even really train them. just let them playing inside that maze. What happened was, the hamster will just stand still if we just being silent. So, then, here we use punishment.
because we have very coward hamsters, these hamsters will run very quickly whenever they hear any sound or see any hands. hahaha.. So, our voice and waving our hand is like their punishment for this experiment.

it is good to hear
I've been quite busy for this time along, so it somehow force me to hold my memorization project for a while. But, to be very lucky, evnthough I can't read those surah by my own, the mahallah representative council playing Surah Al-Mulk every day. So, I can just hear and follow the recitation whenever they turn on the radio.
Now also that I realize that I can remember better when I hear the first word on each verse. And there's a problem for me that I sometimes overlap the last word on a verse with another's verses. why is it so?
